Find valve in valve cover or intake manifold (usually connected by rubber hose).

Shake valve - should rattle. Remove and blow through - should have one-way airflow.

Pull valve from grommet in valve cover (may need twisting motion if stuck).

Check PCV hose for cracks, clean inside if oil residue present.

Push new valve into valve cover grommet, reconnect hose securely.
